Although he has missed some practice time, a recent photo from Kentucky showed him appearing to participate in drills. However, he has not yet been fully cleared for all activities.
Pope announced that Momcilovic is expected to be fully cleared for practice next week, potentially allowing him to participate in the exhibition game against Little Rock on October 16.
The 6-foot-9, 225-pound forward has excelled as one of college basketball's top three-point shooters over the past two seasons. Last season, he averaged 16.9 points with a shooting percentage of 50.6%, including 48.7% from beyond the arc on 7.5 attempts per game, along with 3.1 rebounds and one assist per game.
