Quansah is favored by Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho. In addition to Madrid, Premier League teams have set their sights on the versatile defender. Liverpool, who sold Quansah to Leverkusen in the summer of 2025 for €35 million, reportedly holds a buy-back clause believed to be worth €70 million, which can be activated by 15 June 2027. There is speculation that Liverpool might exercise this option, but the club could also sell him immediately for a profit.
Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested in Quansah. The Gunners attempted to acquire him last summer with a €65 million bid, which Leverkusen rejected due to their valuation of the player. Although Quansah accepted the decision, Chelsea has reportedly made inquiries about him as well.
