As the 2026-27 college basketball season begins, four former Purdue Boilermakers are set to play for different teams. Aaron Fine has joined Ball State after spending two seasons at Purdue. After redshirting in 2024-25, Fine appeared in nine games during the 2025-26 season, totaling 11 points and three assists. He returns to Mackey Arena for an exhibition game on October 18 when Ball State faces Purdue.

Will Berg has made a successful transition to Wichita State, where he was named the American Conference's Sixth Man of the Year. In his first season with the Shockers, the 7-foot center averaged 8.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game, achieving seven double-doubles. Previously at Purdue from 2022-25, Berg totaled 77 points and 55 rebounds over 36 games.

Myles Colvin is now with Cincinnati after a strong season at Wake Forest, where he averaged 11.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, including two 30-point outings. At Purdue, Colvin played 67 games over two years, with an average of 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in his sophomore season.

Camden Heide has transferred to South Carolina after one year at Texas. Heide's last game with the Longhorns was a loss to Purdue in the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16, where he scored three points and recorded five rebounds. At Texas, he averaged 5.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, while at Purdue he averaged 4.7 points and 3.6 rebounds during the 2024-25 season.
