Washington Women's Basketball to Compete in 14th Annual Coconut Hoops Tournament

SEATTLE - The University of Washington women's basketball team will travel to Fort Myers, Florida, over Thanksgiving to participate in the 14th Annual Coconut Hoops tournament. The tournament includes matchups against Oklahoma State, a fellow NCAA Tournament team from 2026, and UMass, with the competition organized by bdG Sports, as announced on Tuesday.

The Huskies hold a 2-1 all-time series lead against Oklahoma State and will face them on Friday, November 27, at 10:30 a.m. PT. They will then encounter UMass for the first time in their history on Saturday, November 28, also at 10:30 a.m. PT.

The tournament will feature two divisions: the Blue Heron Division, which includes Washington, Oklahoma State, and UMass competing in a round-robin format, and the Great Egret Division, featuring Creighton, FGCU, Tennessee, and Houston in a bracket format.

Debbie Antonelli, a college basketball analyst and contributor to the event, expressed enthusiasm about the programs participating: "I'm really looking forward to watching these programs compete in Fort Myers this November.
