This match marks UMass's fifth consecutive unbeaten game in the Mid-American Conference, a streak not seen since the 2020-21 season when they had one tie and four consecutive wins from March 11 to March 28.

UMass's overall record now stands at 9-1-2, including a conference record of 3-0-2, while Toledo's record is 5-4-3 overall and 1-2-2 within the league.

In the first half, both teams managed four shots each. UMass had one shot on target, while Toledo recorded two shots on goal.

The second half also ended without goals, as UMass generated six shots and Toledo had ten. Ultimately, Toledo outshot UMass 14-10 overall, with four shots on goal compared to UMass's two.

Monica Curry led UMass with three shots, followed by Sophia Foley with two. Kaylan Nohasiarisoa, Caroline Dickson, Annie McCaffrey, Nia Hislop, and Amelia Bloom each contributed one shot, with Curry and Hislop each hitting the target.

Nisenfeld achieved her sixth shutout of the season and the thirteenth of her career, stopping all four shots faced during the game. Toledo's Paige Dorneheggen also held her ground, making two saves without allowing any goals.

Looking ahead, UMass will host Akron at Rudd Field on Sunday, October 11, at 1 p.m. This match will be broadcast on ESPN+ and will serve as the Minutewomen's International Day/Show Racism the Red Card event.
