The UConn women’s basketball team, with 12 national championships to its name, has released its full schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Huskies, coached by Geno Auriemma, will begin the season against Cornell at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford on November 2. They will then visit Michigan on November 5 before returning to their home court, Gampel Pavilion, to face Iowa on November 8.

The non-conference schedule features additional challenges, including games against Ohio State and Louisville, and a matchup with South Carolina at Mohegan Sun Arena on November 24 as part of the Hall of Fame Showcase. UConn will also compete against Duke at TD Garden in Boston on November 28, host UNLV in Storrs on December 2, and play Maryland at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 5. The slate continues with a game at Notre Dame on December 9, a home encounter against Tennessee on December 12, and concludes with a neutral site game against LSU in Nashville on December 20.
UConn will commence Big East play on November 20, hosting Seton Hall in Hartford. The Big East Tournament will be held at Mohegan Sun Arena from March 5-8, where UConn aims to continue its streak of six consecutive conference tournament titles since rejoining the Big East for the 2020-21 season.
The upcoming game against South Carolina marks the first meeting since the 2026 Final Four, a notable match in which Auriemma suffered a challenging loss. The clash with Notre Dame will be the 58th meeting between the two programs, with UConn having won two matches against the Fighting Irish last season. Additionally, the game against LSU will be the first since 2016 and Auriemma's first encounter with Kim Mulkey since her final game with Baylor in 2021.
Returning from its 25th Final Four appearance, UConn will be led this season by Sarah Strong, the reigning consensus National Player of the Year.
