USA Defeats Canada 1-0 in International Soccer Friendly

The United States men's national soccer team secured a 1-0 victory over Canada in an international friendly held on Tuesday, October 6, at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota. The match marked the conclusion of the September-October FIFA international break for both teams.

Teenager Justin Ellis scored the only goal of the game, contributing to a successful run for the U.S. team, which finished this international window with four consecutive wins. This friendly served as an important opportunity for both nations to assess their squads following the World Cup.

Leading up to the match, the Canadians were eager to make a statement against their rivals to the south. Canadian head coach Jesse Marsch expressed confidence in his team, as they looked to strengthen their competitive edge in Concacaf. The U.S. team approached the game with momentum from their previous victory over Mexico.

Fans could watch the match on various platforms, including TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Universo, and Peacock.
