Clemson struck first, scoring in the 21st minute. However, Boston College responded quickly, equalizing just 42 seconds later when Emily Mara assisted Sophie Reale, who netted her fifth goal of the season.
Clemson took the lead again in the 73rd minute and extended their advantage to 3-1 with another goal in the 78th minute.
Boston College continued to push, narrowing the gap to 3-2 with a penalty kick conversion by Amalia Dray in the 86th minute, marking her second goal of the season.
The Eagles completed their impressive comeback in the 89th minute, when Reale scored again, bringing her total to six goals for the season.
Throughout the match, Boston College recorded 11 shots, with six on target, and earned nine corner kicks. They also held a slight edge in possession at 54 percent.
Olivia Shippee played the full 90 minutes in goal, making four saves.
