All 30 NBA teams will compete on custom-designed courts throughout the tournament. These vibrant courts will be used in Group Play, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals, ensuring a consistent visual identity across the league.
Key design elements of the courts include:
- Nike's “End of Ordinary” theme, reflecting the bold aesthetics of its 2026 Standard Issue Collection.
- Oversized team wordmarks inspired by the collection's game jacket, displayed on both sides of each court.
- The host team's primary icon prominently featured at center court.
- Court color schemes contrasting with the home team's Statement Edition uniforms, worn during each Emirates NBA Cup game.
- The Emirates NBA Cup trophy displayed at center court and within the paint.
- The new tagline for 2026, “30 Teams. 8 Advance. 1 Champion,” positioned near the corner three-point line.
The 30 teams have been divided into groups of five, based on their win-loss records from the 2025-26 regular season. From October 30 until November 27, each team will play four Group Play games on designated “Cup Nights.”
Eight teams will move on to the Knockout Rounds, which include the Quarterfinals and Semifinals hosted in NBA team markets, culminating in the Emirates NBA Cup Championship on Friday, December 11, at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. All Knockout Round games will be exclusively available for streaming on Prime Video.
