Playing the full 90 minutes, Hill provided her first collegiate assist on Lena Bailey's game-winning goal with just 93 seconds left in the match, marking Florida's second win this season against a top-five ranked opponent.
Hill is notable as the only freshman and the sole representative from the Southeastern Conference on the National Team for the week of October 13. This honor follows recognition for senior Kyra Taylor, who was named National Player of the Week on August 25.
In the match against Alabama, Hill's contributions included:
- Assisting the game-winning goal by delivering a precise pass from deep in Florida's half, enabling Bailey to score from the edge of the penalty area.
- Playing the entire match at center back, instrumental in keeping Alabama scoreless.
- Helping the Gators achieve another top-five victory, adding to their earlier win against then-No. 3 Florida State in August. Florida is currently the only team in the nation with two wins over top-five opponents this season.
- Establishing her role in the starting lineup with 10 appearances, including nine consecutive starts, and accumulating 945 minutes of play, ranking third among Florida's field players.
Looking ahead, Florida faces a tough schedule with two ranked opponents on the road. The Gators will play No. 3 Vanderbilt on October 15 and No. 23 Arkansas on October 18.
