Navratilova's wife, Julia Lemigova, and their daughters, Emma and Victoria, also joined the celebration. Reflecting on her milestone, Navratilova remarked, "Seventy is a big number, but I am grateful to have earned it. And no better way to celebrate than with my tennis nomadic champions, and of course my family and other friends. Having Chris there was the cherry on the cake."

Earlier that day, Navratilova traveled from Santa Fe to Miami with Austin after attending a charity fundraiser for First Serve - New Mexico. Evert honored Navratilova on Instagram, saying, "A very Happy birthday to a woman who has been in my life for 50 years now. A great friend, an intense rival, and a wonderful human being. I wish you good health and happiness always.❤️(See you tonight!)."

Carillo showcased her creativity by presenting a mockumentary that featured tributes from Billie Jean King and Lindsay Davenport. "To show Martina how adored she is, an utterly inaccurate and ridiculous mockumentary is clearly in order. The result was a laughing love fest," Carillo stated. Evert and Shriver also delivered speeches, with Shriver sharing photos on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for lifetime friendships formed through tennis.

Rubin commented on the evening, calling it "an incredible night celebrating Martina with so many friends! ✨️❤️"

This year has been momentous for Navratilova, who recently participated in the International Tennis Hall of Fame events in Newport before the US Open. She wore a Ted Tinling dress from her 1979 Wimbledon title when partnering with inductee Roger Federer in an exhibition match against Gabriela Sabatini and Marat Safin.

Earlier this year, Navratilova and Evert were featured in the Netflix documentary "Chris & Martina: The Final Set," which highlighted their historic rivalry and their battles with cancer. Between 1973 and 1988, Navratilova and Evert faced each other 80 times, with Navratilova winning 43 of those matches. Both players have won 18 Grand Slam singles titles, with Navratilova holding the record for nine Wimbledon titles and Evert for seven French Open titles.
