Ursuline College has announced the appointment of Bet Naumovski as Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Naumovski brings a wealth of experience from NCAA, U SPORTS, and grassroots basketball, highlighting her proven track record in program and player development, as well as championship success.

Naumovski expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating, "I’m thrilled to join the Ursuline community and I’m honored to lead the women’s basketball program into this next chapter." She emphasized Ursuline's appeal to students and families due to its supportive environment, quality education, and dedicated staff.
Before joining Ursuline, Naumovski significantly turned around the women’s basketball program at Queens College, leading it to national recognition. Under her leadership, the Knights achieved four consecutive 20-win seasons, made three NCAA Tournament appearances in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and won two East Coast Conference (ECC) Championships. The highlight of her tenure was the 2017 season, when Queens won the NCAA East Region Championship and earned its first national ranking in the Division II era. Naumovski has been honored as the ECC Coach of the Year twice.
During her coaching career, she has cultivated individual talents, developing a National Player of the Year, NCAA Statistical Champions, and numerous All-Region and All-Conference selections. Her teams also set records for ECC Rookie of the Year award winners. Naumovski has experience in player development at the national level, serving on several committees related to collegiate basketball.
Prior to Queens, she was an assistant coach at Binghamton University, where she helped develop a leading three-point shooter. She also has extensive coaching experience in Canada, notably at the University of Toronto, where her tenure included a conference championship and national ranking.
In addition to her collegiate coaching roles, Naumovski has been involved with Canada Basketball, leading teams that achieved success in development and performance. She has also operated a basketball association and created opportunities for young female athletes through her business, Court Vision.
Ursuline Athletic Director Cindy McKnight praised Naumovski’s extensive experience and commitment to student-athlete development. She noted that Naumovski’s focus extends beyond winning games, emphasizing the role of academics and creating a positive experience for athletes.
Naumovski holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and is a Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) in Canada. With her blend of championship experience and dedication to women's basketball, she aims to leverage the existing foundation at Ursuline and foster a program that the community can take pride in.
