STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern athletic marketing team has unveiled the promotional schedule for the 2026-27 women's basketball season, marking the program's first full season in the Jack & Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center.

The season begins with The Hill Awakens on Monday, November 9, featuring the Eagles against Savannah State. The first 500 fans will receive a pair of GATA Pit Vipers, and there will be a pregame celebration for the Sunbelt 2025-26 Regular Season Champions Banner.
On Monday, December 7, at 11 a.m., the annual Kids Field Trip Game will take place in Hanner, welcoming local schools for a day of basketball and fun.
Wednesday, January 20, will feature Sip, Savour & Swish night at The Hill during the match against Marshall. Fans can start the evening with a painting experience on the concourse while enjoying the game.
The celebration continues on Saturday, February 6, with National Girls and Women in Sports Day/Alumni Day, honoring Georgia Southern's women’s teams, coaches, and administrators. Former women’s basketball players will also be welcomed back, and the first 400 fans will receive a Georgia Southern phone ring light or a GS branded T-shirt.
The 22nd annual Pack the House in Pink event is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, when the Eagles face James Madison. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to support breast cancer research and awareness, with the first 250 fans receiving a GS Pink Beanie.
The regular season will conclude on Friday, February 26, with Senior Day against Old Dominion, celebrating the senior student-athletes before the game.
