Emma Raducanu appears to have concluded her injury-affected season, with her name absent from upcoming tournaments on the 2026 WTA Tour calendar. The 23-year-old last competed on June 14, where she lost to Donna Vekic in the HSBC Championship final at Queen's Club.

Raducanu had initially intended to participate in the Nottingham Open the following week but withdrew. She also pulled out of Wimbledon just before the event due to a stress fracture in her leg. Although there were expectations for her return during the North American hard-court season, she opted to skip it entirely and is anticipated to miss the final part of the season, including events in Asia.
She has already missed the ongoing China Open in Beijing and is not listed for next week's Wuhan Open. Raducanu and her coaching team have not disclosed detailed information about the severity of her injury or her recovery timeline, maintaining silence regarding a possible return.
Following the WTA 1000 events in China, the calendar shifts to the Ningbo Open and Japan Open starting on October 19, but Raducanu is also not entered in those tournaments. Similarly, her name is absent from the entry lists for the Pan Pacific Open, Guangzhou Open, Hong Kong Open, and Chennai Open, which occur from late October to early November.
While Raducanu could still accept late wildcards for any of these events, her lack of entry suggests she is focusing on the 2027 season. After her runner-up finish at Queen's Club, she had climbed back into the top 30 of the rankings but is now projected to fall out of the top 100, currently sitting at No. 107 in the Live WTA Rankings.
Despite this drop, there is a silver lining: Raducanu has no points to defend for the remainder of the year. She is also eligible to use her protected ranking, enabling her to gain entry into tournaments in the upcoming season without relying on wildcards if she returns during the Australian swing in early 2027.
