Becky Burke expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "The Big 12 does such a great job of rolling out the red carpet for Media Day. It gives our student-athletes a platform to showcase who they are while also highlighting the level of talent in this conference. I’m excited for Sumayah, Puff, and Gerda to be in Kansas City, represent our program and give people a glimpse of what we’re building here in Tucson. They've earned the opportunity, and I'm excited for them to experience it."
