The following teams have secured spots in the 2026 WNBA Playoffs:

- Minnesota Lynx (32-10)

- Golden State Valkyries (31-11)

- Las Vegas Aces (29-13)

- Atlanta Dream (28-14)

- Indiana Fever (27-15)

- New York Liberty (26-16)

- Washington Mystics (26-16)

- Dallas Wings (26-16)

As the regular season nears its conclusion, teams are still competing to improve their playoff seeding. The Minnesota Lynx lead the standings and can clinch the top seed with one win or a loss by the Valkyries. The Lynx hold the tiebreaker against Golden State based on their 3-1 season series record. Upcoming games for the Lynx include matchups against the Indiana Fever on Tuesday and Thursday.

The Golden State Valkyries are set to play the Portland Fire on Tuesday and the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday. Currently, only the Lynx and Valkyries have secured home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

The Las Vegas Aces can also secure home court advantage if the Atlanta Dream lose their next game. The Dream can clinch this advantage by winning their remaining games or if the Fever lose one. However, they cannot secure home court in their upcoming game against the Liberty.

Tiebreaker procedures for the playoffs include:

1. Better head-to-head record

2. Better winning percentage against teams finishing the season at .500 or better

3. Better head-to-head point differential between tied teams

4. Better overall point differential against all opponents.

In cases of three or more teams tied, the league eliminates teams stepwise until one team remains.
