Anthony Davis Prepares for Comeback Season with Wizards: "People Forgot"

Anthony Davis is gearing up for his next season with the Washington Wizards, pledging a major comeback. The 2020 NBA champion stated, "People forgot, and I take that personal." His enthusiasm is evident as he captivates fans during training camp, including a highlight one-handed dunk over teammate Bilal Coulibaly that has generated buzz on social media.

As the Wizards prepare for the 2026-27 NBA season, they will also rely on Trae Young, who has openly addressed his defensive shortcomings while focusing on his offensive role. Young's candid remarks come at a time when the team is under pressure to improve after a challenging previous season.

Additionally, Bub Carrington, a guard for the Wizards, has admitted that the team intentionally tanked last season to secure the No. 1 pick, AJ Dybantsa. This strategy is expected to influence the team's dynamics and goals moving forward.

As preseason approaches in early October, various teams, including the Wizards, look to showcase new talents and refine their lineups ahead of the season's official start.
