The previous record was held by Dieter Müller, who needed 129 games to reach 100 goals on September 25, 1977. Kane’s penalty, taken after a foul by Union left-back Tom Rothe on Bayern right winger Michael Olise, found the top-left corner, leaving goalkeeper Frederik Rönnow with no chance.
This goal was Kane’s second of the season and occurred on the fourth matchday, as he continues to perform as the top scorer from the past three seasons. Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, Kane has tallied 151 goals in 154 matches, placing him seventh on Bayern's all-time scorers list.
