Italy to Compete Against South Korea in Davis Cup Final 8

Defending champions Italy will face South Korea in the Davis Cup Final 8 set for November. The matchup follows the draw revealed on Tuesday, which also saw Spain paired against Austria.

The Final 8 will occur on the indoor hardcourts of the SuperTennis Arena in Bologna, Italy, from November 24 to 29. Italy aims to secure its fourth consecutive title and will meet South Korea on November 25. The rest of the schedule will be confirmed shortly.

South Korea secured their spot in the Final 8 following a successful performance against India. Meanwhile, the Czech Republic advanced by defeating 32-time champions the United States and will compete against Canada for a place in the semifinals. Germany, bolstered by newly crowned US Open champion Alexander Zverev, triumphed over Croatia and will face Britain in their quarterfinal match.

A total of 14 teams participated in the qualifiers last weekend, with seven winning teams advancing to the Final 8. Italy qualified automatically as the reigning champion.
