USA and Canada Set for International Friendly at Allianz Field

The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) will host Canada on Tuesday, October 6, at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota. This international friendly marks the final match for both teams during the expanded September/October international window.

Fans can watch the game in the US on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Universo, and Peacock. In Canada, viewers can tune in via TSN, RDS, and OneSoccer. The match is scheduled to kick off at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT.

Both teams are fresh off recent victories; the USMNT won 3-0 against Mexico, while Canada secured a 2-0 win over Peru. The US is currently ranked 16th in FIFA standings, while Canada holds the 30th spot.

For the US, notable players include Cavan Sullivan, who became the youngest goalscorer in USMNT history at just 17 years and five days, and Julian Hall, who scored in his third consecutive game. Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has called up 13 MLS players, focusing on integrating young talent into the senior squad.

Canada, having advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2026 World Cup, is looking to continue its positive trend. The team began this international window with a 1-0 win over Chile, thanks to a goal from Jonathan David, and will rely on players like Jacob Shaffelburg, who netted two goals against Peru.
