The tournament will consist of 8 teams divided into 2 groups of 4. Each team will compete in a single round-robin format during the Group Phase, which will run until October 1. The top 2 teams from each group will progress to the Semi-Finals scheduled for October 3. The Final will occur on October 4, preceded by a Third-Place Game featuring the losing teams from the Semi-Finals.
Al Riyadi returns as a strong contender, being the reigning 2-time champions, and will compete in Group A alongside Kuwait Club, Ittihad Club, and newcomers Indian Railways. Group B includes Sagesse SC, Shahrdari Gorgan, debutants Al Arabi SC, and Al Ula Club, a lineup considered by many as the 'group of death' due to the past successes of the teams involved.
The tournament will kick off on September 26 with a double-header: Ittihad will face Kuwait Club at 17:45 local time, followed by Al Riyadi against Indian Railways at 20:45. All matches will take place at the Nouhad Nawfal Sports Complex in Zouk Mikael, a site with a history of hosting FIBA events.
Fans can watch the games on MTV Sports and stay updated through the official social media channels of WASL and the participating teams. For comprehensive coverage, the Final 8's official website will also provide essential information.
