Missouri State Women's Basketball Open Practice Set for October 7

SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State women's basketball will host an open practice at Great Southern Bank Arena on Wednesday, October 7, at 2:00 p.m.

This free event will provide fans with a chance to see this year's Lady Bears team and interact with the student-athletes and coaches. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Concessions will be available in limited capacity with grab-and-go options, including drinks, popcorn, hot dogs, and barbecue.

Head coach Beth Cunningham leads the Lady Bears after a successful 23-13 season, during which the team won its first Conference USA Tournament championship and reached the NCAA Tournament for the 18th time. This marked Missouri State's 11th consecutive postseason appearance and ninth straight season with 20 or more wins. The team retains seven players from last year and adds seven newcomers, including four freshmen and three transfers.
