Buddy Hield Traded to Chicago Bulls from Charlotte Hornets

The Chicago Bulls have acquired Buddy Hield from the Charlotte Hornets along with cash considerations in exchange for Rob Dillingham, as reported by Shams Charania of ESPN on Saturday. Hield, who is 33 years old, was traded to Charlotte just three days prior on Tuesday.

Throughout his career, Hield has played for the New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors, and Atlanta Hawks. In 765 regular-season games, he has averaged 14.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game, with a shooting percentage of 39.5% from three-point range.

With the Bulls, Hield may face challenges in securing consistent playing time, potentially limiting his fantasy basketball value. While his role could be situational, there is a possibility he will see more minutes during the 2026-27 season if injuries occur.
