The partnership coincides with Fred Perry's 75th anniversary in 2027, which will be marked by a year-long celebration called ‘Fred Perry Retold.’ Richard Gilmore, managing director of Fred Perry, stated that the values of the Davis Cup—heritage, national pride, and tennis style—align with the brand's iconic position in the sport. He noted that this partnership offers a chance to share Fred Perry's story and engage both new and existing fans.

Ross Hutchins, CEO of World Tennis, highlighted the significance of Fred Perry's legacy in the Davis Cup, expressing that collaborating with the brand founded by the former tennis star is a fitting tribute to his contributions to the competition.
