Among the auctioned panels, 26 are signed by players from the championship team, the United States, and the runners-up, France. Each team's players and coach participated in a signing session, which includes a squad-signed panel for both teams. Additionally, there are 74 other panels that are branded but unsigned, giving fans various options to obtain memorabilia from the tournament.
Each panel is equipped with a unique laser-marked authentication code and a Fabricks™ chip, ensuring a secure link between the panel and the court. The 2026 Women’s Basketball World Cup held in Berlin marked a significant milestone, achieving record attendance and setting a new standard for fan engagement in women’s basketball.
Proceeds from the auction will support the FIBA Foundation, which uses basketball as a platform for social impact through its Basketball For Good initiatives. Since its inception in 2016, the foundation has reached over 276,000 beneficiaries in 158 countries. Funds raised will contribute to community development projects and opportunities for youth around the globe.
Two separate auctions are currently active on mws.com. One auction features panels signed by the USA alongside half of the unsigned panels, while the other includes France-signed panels with the remaining unsigned ones. The auction will conclude on September 30.
