The Atlanta Dream will host Games 3 and 4 of the WNBA Finals at State Farm Arena, accommodating 17,004 fans, after avoiding a potential scheduling conflict that could have forced them to play at a smaller venue. This change comes after the team reached the Finals for the first time since 2013 by sweeping the New York Liberty.

Initially, the Dream faced the prospect of playing the championship matches at the Gateway Center Arena, which holds just 3,500 spectators, due to conflicts with other events at State Farm Arena. WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert expressed her satisfaction with the venue change, emphasizing that it allows for a larger audience and provides an extraordinary atmosphere for the Finals.

During the postseason, the Dream relocated their home games to State Farm Arena, increasing average attendance to approximately 9,745 compared to their usual smaller arena. This shift is part of a multiyear agreement that will see the Dream play their home games at State Farm Arena starting next season.

The scheduling issues arose because a concert was planned for October 22, coinciding with Game 3, and a Hawks game was set for October 24, which corresponds with Game 4.
