Boise State, now with a record of 10-1-1 and 2-0-0 in the Pac-12, extended its winning streak to eight games and improved to 6-0-0 at home this season. This match marked the first-ever Pac-12 Conference game for Gonzaga, which holds a record of 5-5-2 and 0-1-0 in the conference.
The game remained scoreless until the 56th minute when Madie Donovan netted her first goal of the season. Mia Lane followed with two late goals, scoring in the 86th and 90th minutes, bringing her season total to five.
Boise State outshot Gonzaga 14 to 5, including 7 to 3 on target. The Broncos also had a slight edge in corner kicks, 3-2.
Gonzaga’s goalkeeper, Sydney Head, recorded four saves, while Boise State’s Ava de Leest made three saves. Gonzaga's Amelia Severn took two shots, both on target.
