In a significant shift, the Dallas Wings moved from the No. 8 seed to No. 6 after defeating the Mercury 87-82. This win put the Wings at 26-16, placing them a half-game ahead of the New York Liberty and Washington Mystics, both at 25-16. In the upcoming 9 p.m. ET game, the Valkyries could close the one-game gap with the Lynx for the top seed if they secure a win against the Storm.
