Carlos Alcaraz's Tournament Schedule for Remainder of 2026 Season

So far this season, Alcaraz has participated in seven tournaments, winning both the Australian Open and Qatar Open, and finishing as the runner-up at the Monte Carlo Masters to Jannik Sinner. His campaign was interrupted when he injured his right wrist during the Barcelona Open, leading to his absence from other key tournaments including the Madrid Open, Italian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, Canadian Open, and Cincinnati Open.

Following his successful return at the US Open without any complications from his injury, Alcaraz is scheduled for a busy end to the year. He will first participate in the Laver Cup at the O2 Arena in London from September 25-27. Alcaraz will team up with the newly-crowned US Open champion Alexander Zverev, Flavio Cobolli, Rafael Jodar, Jakub Mensik, and Casper Ruud in the competition.

This will mark Alcaraz's third consecutive appearance at the Laver Cup, where Team Europe aims to reclaim the title lost to Team World last year, finishing at 15-9.

Next, he will defend his title at the Japan Open in Tokyo starting September 30, where he has 500 points to protect after defeating Taylor Fritz in the 2025 final. Following the Japan Open, Alcaraz will compete in the Shanghai Masters from October 7-18; however, he won’t lose points there as he did not participate in the event last year due to an ankle injury.

He will take a brief hiatus from official competitions before entering the exhibition Six Kings Slam in Riyadh from October 21-24, alongside players like Sinner, Zverev, Novak Djokovic, Fritz, and Alex de Minaur.

His final ATP Tour event of the season will be the Paris Masters, taking place from November 2-8, followed by the ATP Finals in Turin from November 15-22. If Spain qualifies, Alcaraz may round off his season at the Davis Cup Finals in Bologna, Italy.
