Boston College Men's Soccer Defeated by No. 14 Clemson 4-0

CLEMSON, S.C. - The Boston College men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 defeat against No. 14 Clemson in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play on Friday night at Historic Riggs Field. With this loss, Boston College's record stands at 5-2-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the ACC, while Clemson improves to 7-2 with a 3-1 conference record.

Clemson opened the scoring in the 40th minute when they converted a penalty kick into the far corner of the net. The Tigers extended their lead to 2-0 in the 57th minute with a goal resulting from a redirected bouncing cross.

Clemson added two more goals in the 75th and 83rd minutes, bringing their total to four.

In the match statistics, Clemson dominated with a 7-1 advantage in corners and recorded nine shots on goal compared to Boston College's none.

Boston College will next compete on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. when they host North Carolina, with the match to be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
