Five Florida Gators Ranked in ITA Women's Tennis Singles and Doubles

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its updated singles and doubles rankings on February 4, highlighting five members of the No. 23 Florida Women's Tennis Team among the nation’s best.

In singles, Gabia Paskauskas is ranked No. 20, followed by Valery Gynina at No. 48, Xinyi Nong at No. 88, Nikola Daubnerova at No. 99, and Lucie Pawlak at No. 105. This marks career-high rankings for both Daubnerova and Gynina, while Pawlak achieves her first national ranking after being recognized as the 16th best newcomer in women’s tennis in August 2025.

The Gators currently hold a 2-1 record this season, securing wins against Charleston Southern and SEC rival Ole Miss. Their sole defeat occurred in a close match against No. 11 NC State, where they lost 4-3 on the Wolfpack's home turf.

Looking ahead, Florida will host two matches at home on February 13, facing Troy at 10 a.m. EST and Louisiana at 4 p.m. SEC competition starts the following week, as the Gators will welcome Auburn to the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex on February 20 at 1 p.m.
