East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State University announced updated television and game times for most of its men's basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season on Tuesday.

The Spartans began their exhibition games on Friday, October 2, with an 89-59 victory against the University of Incarnate Word at the Breslin Center. They will host UConn on Tuesday, October 20 at 7 p.m. on B1G+, followed by a match at Marquette on Sunday, October 25 at 1 p.m.

The regular season kicks off on Monday, November 2, when Michigan State will face Quinnipiac.

Big Ten Conference play is set to begin on Wednesday, December 2, with a home game against Minnesota. The Spartans' first conference road game will occur on Wednesday, December 9, at Maryland.

Throughout the season, MSU will compete both at home and away against Maryland, Michigan, and Nebraska.

Notable Big Ten teams visiting the Breslin Center this season include Minnesota, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, Washington, and Wisconsin. On the road, the Spartans will face Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern, Ohio State, UCLA, and USC.

Last season, Michigan State concluded with a 27-8 overall record and a 15-5 mark in the Big Ten, earning a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament and making it to the Sweet 16 for the 17th time under Head Coach Tom Izzo.

As the 2026-27 schedule is finalized, fans are encouraged to secure their seats at the Breslin Center for another exciting season of Spartan Basketball.
