Germany, seeking their first victory under head coach Jürgen Klopp, enters the match after a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands and a 0-1 loss to Greece. With kickoff approaching, Klopp has fielded a completely new starting XI from the squad used in previous fixtures, as he has called up a total of 44 players for the international break.
Notably, goalkeeper Jonas Urbig will make his debut for Germany, while Derry Scherhant is also set to earn his first cap. Serge Gnabry will serve as captain in the absence of Joshua Kimmich.
