
DALLAS (SMU) - SMU Women's Tennis announced the signing of Luca Udvardy to its roster for the 2026-27 season, as confirmed by head coach Kelcy McKenna.

Udvardy, a native of Balatonakarattya, Hungary, joins the Mustangs after a successful rookie season at Oklahoma State, where she was honored as an All-Big 12 Freshman Team selection.
She holds an 11.10 UTR, a career-high WTA ranking of 474, and an ITF junior ranking peak of 14. While at Oklahoma State, Udvardy achieved an impressive 8-1 record in singles, winning her last eight matches following an early loss in a two-tiebreaker set in February.
In doubles, she recorded a 10-1 record, starting the spring season with nine consecutive victories on courts two and three.
Before her freshman year, Udvardy participated in all four Junior Grand Slam events and reached the singles final at the 2022 Wimbledon Juniors. Throughout her junior career, she won two singles titles and ten doubles titles, and she also claimed five singles titles and two doubles titles on the professional tour, with her most recent victory at the ITF W35 Orlando in November 2025.
She will be joining Brooklyn Olson as part of the 2026 transfer class at SMU.
