COLUMBIA, S.C. (Sept. 16, 2026) – The South Carolina men’s basketball team has revealed its non-conference schedule for the upcoming season. The Gamecocks will host 10 of their 14 non-SEC games at Colonial Life Arena, starting with their season opener against Stetson on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Before the official start of the season, South Carolina will participate in two exhibition games. The first will take place in Rock Hill, S.C. on Thursday, Oct. 15 against Wake Forest at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center, with a scheduled tip-off at 6 p.m. The details for the second exhibition game will be announced later.

Following the matchup with Stetson, South Carolina will continue its five-game homestand by hosting Southeast Missouri State on Sunday, Nov. 8, Saint Peter’s on Wednesday, Nov. 11, Gardner-Webb on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Elon on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

The Gamecocks will then embark on a three-game road trip, beginning with a pair of games in California as part of the Acrisure Series, facing Southern California on Wednesday, Nov. 25 and Arizona State on Thursday, Nov. 26. They will conclude this stretch with a game against N.C. State in Raleigh, N.C. on Tuesday, Dec. 1 as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge; this will be their sole true road game in non-conference play.

Upon returning home, South Carolina will host UT Martin on Sunday, Dec. 6 and Youngstown State on Saturday, Dec. 12, culminating this homestand with a match against in-state rival Clemson on Tuesday, Dec. 15.

The non-conference schedule wraps up with a game against Maryland in Baltimore, Md. on Saturday, Dec. 19, followed by home games against North Carolina Central on Tuesday, Dec. 22 and South Carolina State on Tuesday, Dec. 29.

SEC play for the Gamecocks will kick off on Saturday, Jan. 2, as they travel to Baton Rouge, La. to face LSU.
