
The Colorado women's basketball team has officially released its complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, featuring 12 non-conference games and an 18-game slate in the Big 12 Conference, according to Head Coach JR Payne.

With a roster that includes seven returning players and seven newcomers, Colorado aims to blend experience with fresh talent as it seeks success both in the Big 12 and on the national level.
"We're excited to release our full schedule and give Buff Nation a look at the challenges ahead," said Payne, who begins her 11th season as head coach. She emphasized that the non-conference games will provide valuable experience against various playing styles, which will be essential in the demanding Big 12 environment.
The season kicks off on October 27 with an exhibition game against Adams State, followed by the regular season opener at home against Morgan State on November 4. The Buffs will then host Fresno State on November 7 before hitting the road to face San Diego State on November 11, and returning home to play Youngstown State on November 14.
Colorado's schedule continues with a road game against New Mexico on November 18, followed by participation in the Cancun Challenge, where they will compete against Georgia on November 26, Oregon on November 27, and Maryland Eastern Shore on November 28.
December features a game at Denver on December 3, leading into three consecutive home games against Wyoming (December 6), San Francisco (December 12), and Utah Tech (December 15). The Big 12 action starts on December 20 with a game at Texas Tech, and the Buffs will host Arizona State in their conference home opener on December 30.
As 2027 begins, Colorado will welcome Baylor to the CU Events Center on January 2, and play at Oklahoma State on January 6. They will then play home games against UCF on January 9 and BYU on January 13, followed by two road games at Cincinnati on January 17 and West Virginia on January 20. The month concludes with a home game against Kansas on January 24 and a road matchup at TCU on January 31.
February begins with a home game against Houston on February 3, then a contest at Iowa State on February 6. The Buffs will host Oklahoma State on February 10 before another road trip, facing Utah on February 13 and BYU on February 16. The regular season wraps up with a home game against Arizona on February 20, an away game at Arizona State on February 24, and a senior day matchup against Kansas State on February 28.
