The championship match will take place on Capital Group Diamond Court on Sunday evening, starting no earlier than 7:30 p.m. local time, following the doubles final at 4:30 p.m. The doubles final features Katerina Siniakova and Zhang Shuai against either Gabriel Dabrowski and Luisa Stefani or Elise Mertens and Diana Shnaider.

Andreeva reached the final with a series of strong performances:

- Advanced directly to the second round due to a bye

- Defeated Yuan Yue 3-6, 6-0, 6-0

- Defeated Polina Kudermetova 6-4, 6-1

- Defeated Daria Snigur 6-2, 6-2 in the fourth round

- Beat Ekaterina Alexandrova 7-6(4), 7-6(3) in the quarterfinals

- Won against Nikola Bartunkova 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals

This marks Andreeva's fifth final of the year, where she has already secured titles at Roland Garros, Adelaide, and Linz, and finished as runner-up in Madrid.

Zheng's path to the final included:

- Defeating Shi Han 7-6(6), 4-6, 6-2 in the first round

- Winning against Anna Kalinskaya 6-7(4), 6-0, 3-0 ret.

- Beat Marie Bouzkova 7-6(3), 4-6, 7-5 in the third round

- Defeated Alina Charaeva 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 in the fourth round

- Won against Elina Svitolina 6-3, 7-6(6) in the quarterfinals

- Beat Elise Mertens 7-5, 6-2 in the semifinals

Zheng is the first Chinese player to reach the final since the tournament's inception in 2004, following seven prior semifinal attempts by Chinese players without a title.

The prize money for the event totals USD $9,415,725, with the singles champion set to receive $1,151,380 and the runner-up $612,340. In doubles, the champions will split $468,200 while the runners-up earn $247,870. Competing for ranking points, the singles champion can earn 1000 points towards the PIF WTA Rankings.

Regardless of the outcome, Andreeva is expected to rise to World No. 3 on Monday, having already qualified for the WTA Finals in Indian Wells. Zheng, who was ranked No. 160 in mid-June, is projected to return to the top 30.

Andreeva noted, "I've been feeling better and better physically and mentally with each match. Zheng is a tough opponent, and we'll prepare our best for the final."

Zheng expressed pride in competing in front of her home crowd, saying, "It gives me motivation. We both have become more mature as players since our last match. It's going to be a hard battle."
