Bundesliga Players Among Finalists for Golden Boy Award

The nominees include Karl, 19, from Bayern Munich; Karetsas, 18, and Joane Gadou, 19, both from Borussia Dortmund; as well as Said El Mala, 20, from 1.FC Köln, and Finn Jeltsch, 20, from VfB Stuttgart.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport has presented the Golden Boy award, recognizing the best under-21 player in Europe, since 2003. This year, the list features 25 finalists, with five representing leading German clubs. The frontrunner for the award is Spanish World Cup winner Pau Cubarsí, 19, from FC Barcelona. Last year, the trophy was awarded to Desiré Doué, 21, of PSG.
