Avery Oder scored two goals, and Mia Minestrella, Katie Shea Collins, and Yuna Marui each contributed one goal to secure the victory for the Blue Devils. Duke goalkeeper Molly Vapensky made five saves, including four in the second half, to shut out Stanford.
Shea Collins opened the scoring with the game-winner in the 15th minute, followed by Oder's first goal in the 36th minute. Oder capped the scoring with a penalty kick in the 79th minute.
The match marked Stanford's first shutout loss since the 2025 national championship game and was the largest margin of defeat in the program's history, tying a previous record. Duke outshot Stanford 13-12. Notably, junior Sophie Murdock made her season debut for the Cardinal, and freshman Ella Kral returned after an earlier injury.
