Unrivaled’s third season will continue the pattern established in its second season, featuring a month-long tour across the country. Amy Rahja, General Manager of Target Center, expressed enthusiasm for the league's arrival, stating, "Minneapolis has a deep passion for women’s basketball and we’re thrilled to welcome Unrivaled to Target Center for the first time. This is an exciting opportunity to bring some of the world’s best players to our city and give fans a chance to experience the energy and innovation of Unrivaled live."
The league will collaborate with A Bar of their Own, a local Minnesota business focused on women’s sports, to host watch parties for fans unable to attend games in person. Minnesota has a strong history with women’s sports, highlighted by successful teams like the Minnesota Lynx and the Minnesota Frost. This new league is anticipated to further spark interest in women’s athletics in the region.
Players such as Courney Williams and Kayla McBride from the Lynx have participated in previous seasons, alongside homegrown talents like Paige Bueckers and emerging star Olivia Miles. In addition, Phee, who was named season one’s Most Valuable Player, is expected to return following recovery from an injury that sidelined her during season two, aiming to compete for her first Unrivaled title.
