The Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative (WJTI) celebrated its 25th anniversary by hosting an event at the Community Tennis Centre in Raynes Park, attracting children, families, and coaches.

Since its inception in 1998, the WJTI has provided coaching to over 300,000 students from state schools within the London boroughs of Wandsworth and Merton.
At the celebration, WJTI Head Coach Mark Codling mentioned that the program serves 750 children each week, with 350 of those participants having come through the WJTI. Children are invited to join the program after attending school coaching lessons, where they then receive free weekly coaching sessions until they turn 18.
