Fynn Schott to Miss Start of 2026-27 Season After Surgery

SALT LAKE CITY – Fynn Schott, center for Utah men's basketball, will be sidelined at the beginning of the 2026-27 season due to surgery on his right leg, the program announced on Friday.

The procedure was successfully completed earlier this week, and Schott is expected to fully recover and rejoin the Runnin' Utes this season.

Utah is scheduled to begin its exhibition series on Wednesday, October 7, with a game against UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 8 p.m. (MDT) at the Thomas & Mack Center.
