Before his promotion, Weems spent time as the Senior Director of Player Personnel and Director of Scouting. As General Manager, he will oversee roster management and contract negotiations as well as global scouting and daily team operations. He will continue to collaborate with Altman on draft-related activities, focusing on player evaluations and statistical analyses.

Jon Nichols has been with the organization since the 2013-14 season, advancing from Director of Analytics to Vice President of Basketball Strategy over the past four seasons. In his new role as Associate General Manager, Nichols will take on expanded responsibilities, including developing basketball strategy models while managing roster and contract negotiations.
Brendon Yu, also entering his 11th season with the Cavaliers, has previously served as General Manager of the Cleveland Charge in the G League. He played a key role in player evaluation and led the Charge to a successful season in 2022-23.
José Calderón rejoined the Cavaliers in 2022 as a Special Advisor after an NBA career spanning 14 seasons. He will continue to assist the front office in various capacities.
