Lacoste kicked off Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, October 4th, with its Spring-Summer 2027 runway show, held on the Philippe-Chatrier center court at Stade Roland-Garros, home of the French Open. Unlike the usual light layer of red brick dust, the court was transformed with large mounds of fresh clay.

The brand enhanced the iconic tennis venue by spreading significant amounts of red clay across the court, creating a distinct environment for the show. The clay piles extended beyond the court's edges, reaching the seating areas where attendees were gathered.

Guests received custom invitations adorned with visuals of a white polo, a paintbrush, and the signature red clay, along with the tagline “No whites required” for the collection.

Lacoste’s Spring-Summer 2027 Collection showcased innovative takes on the brand's classic sportswear. Creative director Pelagia Kolotouros named it Dress Code: No White Required, reflecting a bold and colorful departure from traditional styles. The classic tennis polo was reimagined into a skintight design featuring mesh ventilation and reinforced fabric.

Many designs incorporated hues echoing the clay venue, with models carrying burnt-orange accessories, including a range of bags marked “Clay Court / Lacoste.” Some pieces appeared to have been playfully dipped or tossed in ochre clay.

The collection also included items inspired by the iconic yellow-green of tennis balls, with one model showcasing a striking neon yellow-green dress, highlighted by a prominent white zipper.

Among the notable attendees in the front row were 23-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams, who wore a royal blue dress and coat from the collection, paired with burnt orange sunglasses. Former ATP No. 3 Grigor Dimitrov also attended, wearing a burnt orange dress shirt with red suit pants and a matching jacket, alongside a host of celebrities celebrating Lacoste’s latest collection.
