Carter confidently stated, “We're getting another 'ship. For sure. I'm calling it.” Her move to Sichuan follows a successful stint with Al Ula Club in Saudi Arabia, where she averaged 29.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists last year, including a remarkable game against Korea's Busan BNK Sum where she recorded 45 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Reflecting on her journey, Carter noted the excitement of playing internationally, stating, “I'm happy to be able to travel the world, and just continue to play.” During the inaugural matchup for Sichuan in WBL Asia, she made an immediate impact by scoring the first five points of the game and finishing with 22 points, leading her team to a 92-70 victory over Cathay Life at the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium.

Carter aims to help Sichuan reclaim its title after previously winning the championship in 2024. Her familiarity with the team, having previously played in the WCBA and against the Pandas, contributes to her optimistic outlook. “I think we'll be able to help each other,” she commented, highlighting the team’s winning culture.

While acknowledging the challenges ahead, Carter expressed eagerness for the season, saying, “I know I'm gonna have fun, I'm gonna get better. I'm excited for the season.”
