Notre Dame has officially released its schedule for the 2026-27 women's basketball season, featuring several notable matchups. Upon returning to the U.S., the Irish will face first-time opponent Stonehill on November 6, followed by a game against Detroit Mercy on November 10. A third game is expected to be announced for November 14, and then the Irish will host Southern on November 18 before heading to the Bahamas for the fifth annual Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament, where they will compete against Davidson on November 24 and West Virginia on November 26.

A rematch with Vanderbilt is scheduled as part of the 2026 SEC/ACC Challenge, following Notre Dame’s victory over the Commodores last March that secured the program’s first Elite Eight appearance under Head Coach Niele Ivey.

The team's first Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) game will be against Florida State on December 6. The Irish previously defeated the Seminoles in their ACC opening game last season. Notable home games include a matchup with UConn on December 9 and Bowling Green on December 13.

After the semester exams, Notre Dame will head to Las Vegas for the 2026 Players Era Showcase, where they will take on Southern Cal and South Carolina. The Irish will wrap up December with games at Pitt and California.

The first portion of 2027 will see the Irish play at Miami and Virginia Tech before returning home to face Duke and Georgia Tech. January will also include road games against Syracuse and Louisville.

The season will progress with home games against Stanford and SMU before a trip to Clemson. Other notable ACC matchups include Virginia and Wake Forest at home.

The regular season will conclude with a game against Louisville on February 28, following a final road trip to NC State and Boston College. Historically, Notre Dame leads in several series against upcoming opponents, notably against Wake Forest, where they have remained undefeated.
