SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Kansas City players Mariano Beunza and Elouan Labadie-Vincent have been recognized with the Peak Performer of the Week awards by the Summit League, announced on Tuesday.

Beunza, a fifth-year senior, played a pivotal role for the Roos by scoring two key goals. He netted an equalizer in the 88th minute during a match against No. 12 Missouri State, resulting in a 3-3 draw. Just four days later, Beunza scored again, this time a diving header in the 74th minute, contributing to a 1-0 victory over No. 7 San Diego. He now has four goals for the season.
In his first season with the Roos, junior Elouan Labadie-Vincent, a French midfielder, has also made significant contributions, despite appearing in only four matches. He scored both of Kansas City's goals in the draw against Missouri State, marking his first two goals in a Kansas City uniform.
Kansas City will next play on Saturday, September 26, at 7 PM, against Oral Roberts to begin Summit League competition.
