The implementation will coincide with MLS's two-year jersey lifecycle. As a result, the Trefoil logo will gradually appear on all new away kits launched in 2027, with Inter Miami's 27-28 away kit already displaying this design. This kit, described as a stealthy blackout model, notably replaces the standard Three Stripes performance logo with the Trefoil on the right chest.
The rollout reflects Adidas' broader strategy to integrate the Trefoil into its designs for elite teams globally. The brand initially revitalized the Trefoil on third kits in the 2024-25 season, later extending its use to away kits for top European clubs in the 2026-27 season. This move will now include MLS, positioning the away kits under the Adidas Originals lifestyle umbrella, further embedding the Trefoil into the league's branding.
