This partnership combines two of Australia's prominent brands to enhance the fan experience at the AO, integrating the event's top-tier food and beverage options with DoorDash’s delivery technology. Whether at Melbourne Park or watching from home, fans will benefit from this collaboration.

As part of the agreement, DoorDash will manage the Golden Hour Bar on Grand Slam Oval, creating a popular destination for spectators. Fans can enjoy the tennis action while having food delivered directly to them.

In a first for the Australian Open, patrons at the bar will use DoorDash technology to order food from a range of vendors, allowing them to bypass queues and make the most of their time at the event.

Additionally, DoorDash will enhance the overall food and beverage experience as the Presenting Partner of AO on the GO, the tournament’s convenience platform. Their branding will appear on vending machines and carts, and DoorDash staff will interact with fans throughout the venue.

Cedric Cornelis, Tennis Australia's chief commercial officer, noted that food and drink have become essential to the Australian Open experience. He highlighted that this initiative makes it easier for fans to enjoy the venue on their terms.

Simon Rossi, vice president of DoorDash APAC, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the combination of world-class tennis and Melbourne’s vibrant food scene. He remarked that the delivery service will enhance the experience at the Golden Hour Bar by allowing fans to savor meals from around the precinct without leaving their seats.

The visibility of DoorDash will be prominent throughout the event, with virtual signage, LED gates, concourse screens, and digital animations. For those watching from home, exclusive promotions and offers will also be available, facilitating a seamless dining experience as fans follow the matches.
