Denver improved by two positions following a decisive 7-0 victory against North Dakota on April 11 and a 4-1 win over Nevada in their home finale on April 12. The team is currently on a six-match winning streak, which includes three matches won by a score of 7-0, as they approach the final week of the regular season.
Throughout the season, DU has competed against six nationally ranked opponents, notably achieving a 4-3 win over Texas Tech, which is currently ranked No. 72. All five of Denver's losses have come against teams in the national rankings: No. 40 Penn, No. 66 Northwestern, No. 67 Wichita State, No. 69 Boise State, and No. 74 BYU.
This marks the fifth week in the ITA rankings for Denver in 2026 and the third consecutive week in the current ranking.
The ITA Division I Men's Collegiate Tennis Rankings list the top 75 teams out of 243, in addition to the top 125 singles players and top 60 doubles teams at the NCAA Division I level. Rankings will be updated weekly until the NCAA tournament begins in May.
The team will conclude its regular season with two away matches, facing Drake on April 17 and Omaha on April 19.
